The Exam Seating Arrangement Tool helps the exam cell plan seating quickly. Halls are added with rows, columns and capacity, and students are imported from Excel.

The tool places students so that same-branch students do not sit together, and prints seating charts, door lists and attendance sheets. It is built with C# .NET WinForms.

  1. Install Visual Studio Community with the .NET desktop development workload.
  2. Install MongoDB and restore or attach the database file we provide.
  3. Open the .sln solution file in Visual Studio.
  4. Update the connection string in App.config if your server name is different.
  5. Press F5 (Start) and log in with the admin details from the documentation.
