What is the Expense Sharing App?
The Expense Sharing App helps friends and roommates share costs, like a small Splitwise. Users create groups and add shared expenses.
The app calculates each person's share and shows who owes whom. Members can settle up and see history. It is built with Laravel, PHP and JavaScript.

- Install XAMPP and start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
- Copy the project folder into
C:\xampp\htdocs\(orhtdocson Mac). - Open
localhost/phpmyadmin, create a new database and import the.sqlfile we provide. - Run
composer install, copy.env.exampleto.envand add your database name. - Open
localhost/project-folderin your browser and log in with the admin details given in the documentation.
