What is the Transport Management System?
The Transport Management System is a web application that helps a transport or fleet operator coordinate vehicles, routes, drivers, and bookings within one organised platform. Administrators register vehicles, assign drivers, define routes and schedules, and manage passenger or cargo bookings, while customers can check route availability, reserve seats or shipments, and view trip details online. The system prevents scheduling conflicts by tracking which vehicles and drivers are committed at any given time, improving utilisation and reducing manual coordination errors. This major project uses MongoDB as its datastore, whose flexible document model suits the varied data of routes, trips, and bookings, while PHP and the CodeIgniter framework provide a structured MVC application layer.

- Copy the project folder into
C:\xampp\htdocs\(orhtdocson Mac). - Open
