What is the Pet Shop Management System?

The Pet Shop Management System helps a pet store manage pet food, accessories, medicines and live pets. Every product has stock and price, and staff can make bills at the counter.

The shop can also book grooming sessions and keep records of customers and their pets. Reports show sales and stock. It is built with PHP, CodeIgniter and MySQL.

  1. Install XAMPP and start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
  2. Copy the project folder into C:\xampp\htdocs\ (or htdocs on Mac).
  3. Open localhost/phpmyadmin, create a new database and import the .sql file we provide.
  4. Open the database config file and enter your database name, username and password.
  5. Open localhost/project-folder in your browser and log in with the admin details given in the documentation.
