What is the Faculty Management System?

The Faculty Management System helps a college or school manage its teaching staff. Every faculty member has a profile with qualification, experience, subjects and contact details.

The admin can assign subjects and workload, approve leave, and record performance feedback from students. Faculty can log in to update their profile and see their timetable. It is built using PHP, CodeIgniter and MySQL.

Best for: BCA, MCA, BSc IT, BE / B.Tech (CSE / IT) and diploma students. Good as a major / final year project for your semester submission.

  1. Install XAMPP and start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
  2. Copy the project folder into C:\xampp\htdocs\ (or htdocs on Mac).
  3. Open localhost/phpmyadmin, create a new database and import the .sql file we provide.
  4. Open the database config file and enter your database name, username and password.
  5. Open localhost/project-folder in your browser and log in with the admin details given in the documentation.
