What is the Ticketing Management System?

The Ticketing Management System is a simple way to track issues from customers or staff. Every issue becomes a ticket with a number, priority and owner, so nothing is forgotten.

Tickets move through queues like Open, In Progress and Resolved. Managers see dashboards with pending tickets and team performance. It is built using PHP, CodeIgniter and MySQL.

  1. Install XAMPP and start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
  2. Copy the project folder into C:\xampp\htdocs\ (or htdocs on Mac).
  3. Open localhost/phpmyadmin, create a new database and import the .sql file we provide.
  4. Open the database config file and enter your database name, username and password.
  5. Open localhost/project-folder in your browser and log in with the admin details given in the documentation.
