What is the Warehouse Stock Tracker?

The Warehouse Stock Tracker helps warehouse staff know exactly where goods are. Items are stored in racks and bins, and every inward and outward movement is recorded.

Stock audits compare physical count with system stock, and reports show stock by location. Barcode scanning speeds up work. It is built with C# .NET WinForms.

Best for: BCA, MCA, BSc IT, BE / B.Tech (CSE / IT) and diploma students. Good as a mini project for your semester submission.

  1. Install Visual Studio Community with the .NET desktop development workload.
  2. Install PostgreSQL and restore or attach the database file we provide.
  3. Open the .sln solution file in Visual Studio.
  4. Update the connection string in App.config if your server name is different.
  5. Press F5 (Start) and log in with the admin details from the documentation.
