The Wallpaper App offers thousands of HD wallpapers in categories like nature, cars, abstract and minimal. Images load from a free wallpaper API.

Users can preview, download, save favourites and set a wallpaper for the home or lock screen in one tap. An auto-change option changes wallpaper daily. It is built in Android Studio with Java/Kotlin.

Best for: BCA, MCA, BSc IT, BE / B.Tech (CSE / IT) and diploma students. Good as a major / final year project for your semester submission.

  1. Install Android Studio and open it once so it downloads the SDK.
  2. Choose File → Open and select the project folder.
  3. Wait for Gradle sync to finish (first time may take a few minutes).
  4. Check the database / API settings file if the project uses a server.
  5. Connect your phone with USB debugging ON (or start an emulator) and click Run.
