What is the Train Ticket Booking System?

The Train Ticket Booking System lets users search trains between stations and book tickets. It shows timings, classes, fares and seat availability.

Users add passenger details, pay online and get a PNR number. PNR status and cancellations are supported. It is built with Laravel, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL.

  1. Install XAMPP and start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
  2. Copy the project folder into C:\xampp\htdocs\ (or htdocs on Mac).
  3. Open localhost/phpmyadmin, create a new database and import the .sql file we provide.
  4. Run composer install, copy .env.example to .env and add your database name.
  5. Open localhost/project-folder in your browser and log in with the admin details given in the documentation.
