The Hotel Room Booking System lets guests book hotel rooms online. They enter check-in and check-out dates and see available room types with photos, amenities and prices.

Guests book and pay online, and the hotel manages rooms, bookings and check-ins. It is built with Laravel, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL.

  1. Install XAMPP and start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
  2. Copy the project folder into C:\xampp\htdocs\ (or htdocs on Mac).
  3. Open localhost/phpmyadmin, create a new database and import the .sql file we provide.
  4. Run composer install, copy .env.example to .env and add your database name.
  5. Open localhost/project-folder in your browser and log in with the admin details given in the documentation.
