What is the Heart Rate Monitoring System?

The Heart Rate Monitoring System measures pulse using a finger or ear pulse sensor. The controller counts beats and shows BPM on an OLED display.

Readings are sent to a mobile app or dashboard, and alerts appear if heart rate is too high or low. It is built with Arduino/ESP8266 and C/C++.

Best for: BE / B.Tech (ECE, EEE, E&TC, CSE, IT), diploma and polytechnic students. Good as a mini project for your semester submission.

How the Heart Rate Monitoring System Works

1

Sense

Sensors read real-world values like temperature, gas, motion or distance.

2

Process

The microcontroller checks the values against set limits.

3

Act

It turns on a buzzer, relay, motor or LED when needed.

4

Notify

Live data and alerts are sent to a phone app or web dashboard.
