IoT Based Flood Monitoring Project
An IoT Based Flood Monitoring system using ultrasonic and rain sensors to track river water level and send flood alerts.
- C/C++, Python
- Arduino/Raspberry Pi
- MySQL
- Remote setup included
See the project running first, then pay.
What is the IoT Based Flood Monitoring?
The IoT Flood Monitoring system warns people before a flood reaches them. An ultrasonic sensor mounted over a river or drain measures the water level, and a rain sensor detects heavy rain.
The ESP8266 sends data to a cloud dashboard, and alerts with siren and SMS are triggered when water crosses danger levels. It is built with ESP8266 and Arduino C/C++.

How the IoT Based Flood Monitoring Works
Sense
Sensors read real-world values like temperature, gas, motion or distance.
Process
The microcontroller checks the values against set limits.
Act
It turns on a buzzer, relay, motor or LED when needed.
Notify
Live data and alerts are sent to a phone app or web dashboard.
