What is the Speech-to-Text Tool?

The Speech to Text Tool turns spoken words into text on a Windows PC. Users click Start, speak into the microphone, and the words appear in the text box.

Voice commands like "new line" and "full stop" help formatting, and the text can be saved or copied. It is built with C# .NET WinForms.

Best for: BCA, MCA, BSc IT, BE / B.Tech (CSE / IT) and diploma students. Good as a mini project for your semester submission.

  1. Install Visual Studio Community with the .NET desktop development workload.
  2. Install MongoDB and restore or attach the database file we provide.
  3. Open the .sln solution file in Visual Studio.
  4. Update the connection string in App.config if your server name is different.
  5. Press F5 (Start) and log in with the admin details from the documentation.
