What is the Gym Membership Booking System?

The Gym Membership Booking System lets people join a gym online. They choose a membership plan, pay online and get a member ID.

Members book group classes like yoga or Zumba, see trainer schedules and renew plans. It is built with Laravel, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL.

  1. Install XAMPP and start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
  2. Copy the project folder into C:\xampp\htdocs\ (or htdocs on Mac).
  3. Open localhost/phpmyadmin, create a new database and import the .sql file we provide.
  4. Run composer install, copy .env.example to .env and add your database name.
  5. Open localhost/project-folder in your browser and log in with the admin details given in the documentation.
